Vehicle magnets require a magnet-compatible metal surface.

They will not adhere to aluminum and are not suitable for fiberglass, plastic, composite or other non-magnetic surfaces.

Because vehicle construction can vary by manufacturer, model, year and individual body panel, test the exact installation area with a household magnet before ordering.

The magnet should attach securely across the entire intended installation area.
