How We Created the Custom Party Hats
We started by printing directly onto calendared sticker vinyl using our Roland large format printer. This is the same material we commonly use for custom decals, stickers, promotional graphics, and branded visuals.
After printing:
- Each hat template was contour cut to shape
- The pieces were manually trimmed and finished
- The vinyl was molded into traditional cone party hat forms
- Double-sided tape was used to secure the seams
- Holes were punched into the edges
- Elastic strings were installed to keep the hats secure during movement and performance
The final result was a lightweight custom wearable prop designed specifically for the recital theme.
