When Holiday Inn Resort Orlando came to us with a vision for their FlowRider attraction, the ask was clear: transform an exciting amenity into something guests would remember, photograph, and talk about. The result was Surf & Splash Orlando Waterpark — a branded identity anchored by a custom fabricated feature monument sign positioned above the FlowRider.

This project marks iHeartCustoms' entry into a category we have been building toward: custom fabricated dimensional signage for hospitality properties, hotels, and entertainment venues across the Orlando corridor.

What Is a Custom Fabricated Feature Sign?

A custom fabricated sign is a built-to-order, three-dimensional piece constructed from materials including aluminum, acrylic, industrial foam, and layered composites. Unlike printed flat graphics, fabricated signs have physical depth, structural presence, and are engineered to anchor a space visually. They function as landmarks rather than labels.

For the Surf & Splash project, the proposed sign measures 15 feet wide by 4 feet tall, constructed with dimensional layered surfboard shaping, tropical wave graphics, palm tree elements, and a sunset color palette designed specifically for the outdoor Florida waterpark environment.
